Other podcasts Lannie enjoys
The Talking Tranny
Susan Moses audio blog. During her first year, we heard about her sex reassigment surgery, breaking up with her boyfriend, and getting a stalker. What will happen in Susan's life next? A frank and fascinating podcast, and a major inspiration for the How To Change Your Sex podcast.
SRS-O (Susan's Radio Show Online)
As if one podcast wasn't enough, Susan Moses also has a show that interviews voices in the transgender community, a worthy successor to the much loved Gender Talk. TG Spirit is the producer and co-host.
Sabrina Talk
"Midwestern CD/TG with a heart..." Audio blog of a transgender person who is trying to figure out just what she is. To make things more interesting, her spouse seems to be trans, too.
Sex with Emily
Sex positive talk show with a strongly female perspective, done out of San Francisco. I leanred some fascinating things, but I stopped listening because I found the format to be pretty annoying. It started off as a podcast but then she got picked up by a radio station, so it's got a lot of repetition and breaks that you need for radio.
TED Talks
Speeches from the TED conferences, where people are using Technology, Education, and Design to solve the world's problems in fascinating, innovative ways. It's one of the rare things that gives me hope we may actually muddle through these troubled times.
This I Believe
Short essays about people's beliefs; series started as a radio show in th 1950s.
Authors on Tour - Live!
Recordings of authors at their book readings at the Tattered Covered bookstore in Denver. Includes famous authors like gay governer Jim McGreevy, Barak Obama, and Dave Barry, as well as less well-known names (but mostly best sellers--I doubt you'll ever here Lannie Rose on this podcast!)
LSAT Logic
"We apply the tools for dissecting flawed LSAT arguments to current events, showing how journalists, advertisers, and politicians all use flawed logic to prove their conclusions."
Berkeley Groks
Science news and interview from my alma mater.
Book Expo America
Talks and inteviews from America's largest book seller convention. One of the episodes features the Podcasting for Dummies guy.
